When I was still searching for my soul mate, I used to go with the free online chatting sites. I found out that all of the people there are just playing around and some are either hackers or sex maniacs. 

I was so ignorant by that time. One time, I chatted with a guy and he wanted me to open his camera. Holy S….!!! He showed his thing! I immediately closed the web cam. I was embarrassed because I was in a public internet café. So, this is an example of a horrible experience with a free online dating site.

There are some who offer free trial or sign up only; some are free for women only and men do pay; and some are really free to do everything. In entering an online dating site, you will have to choose whether to use the free or the paid services. Who doesn’t want free but you have to face the consequences of the free online sites. Here are some things that you need to consider first:

• You are in danger of meeting dishonest people from different places. They can create several profiles with different photos, names, and other information. In other words, fake people are likely in the loose.

• It is not safe from hackers, scammers, and sex maniacs.

• People are not as serious as you are. They are just playing around since it’s free. Just there to kill time and have fun.

• Since it’s free, there will be annoying advertising banners in the site and pop up ads may just appear anytime when you are in that site. These can be a total destruction to your attention and mood.

• Customer service is not as good as the paid online dating sites. Or there may be no customer service at all.

These are the possible things that you may encounter in opting for a free dating online service. Searching for your missing piece online is not that easy. It can be fun but it can be dangerous also. As an advice, I suggest you go to paid services if you’re a woman because most of them let the women sign up for free. Let the men pay to look for you. That’s what I did!
